Look out for work from our Exhibition 2024
Once again, BSc Architecture students continued to explore the key foundations of people, place and environment.
Year 1 students were introduced to the principles through a series of established design projects set in Sheffield and Manchester – Life in the Woods, Makers and Happy Together.
Year 2 students explored regeneration and inclusive public space through a live project for a House of Music, working with the developers CITU at their groundbreaking Attercliffe Waterside development in Sheffield. Following this, the Community College explored urban communities in Rotterdam and Manchester.
Year 3 students developed proposals for projects that speculated on environmental education, firstly in the Dovedale Centre for Landscape, set in the Peak District and secondly for the Climate Action Assembly in Edinburgh and Manchester.
