Across design and written modules students engage with architectural practice and local and national cultural organisations, and explore diverse models of practice and architectural production.
Look out for work from our Exhibition for 2023
MArch students have again produced a diverse series of projects based on social, political, urban, environmental and personally developed agendas.This year all three year groups have been developing projects for the city of Sheffield, addressing current and future ecological, spatial and social challenges.
Year 6 students worked with the theme of Enabling Infrastructures for the Future City, developing projects for the rapidly changing industrial and residential neighbourhoods to the north of the city centre.
Year 5 students worked with the challenge of Decarbonising Neighbourhoods in and around Spitalhill and the Wicker.
Year 4 students have designed a climate lab for activists, scientists or artists to host public conversations around climate under the theme of Co-Dreaming Climates: Inhabiting the Ecotone, and Snorkelling in Soil in Langsett and Neepsend.
