The Museum of Water

The Museum of Water project was set in the Floating Harbour in Bristol. The main concept of my project was based on the movement of pedestrians around the site and in the wider area. This led to the division of the permanent exhibitions. Each exhibition space frames a specific view of the surrounding area, e.g. the harbour, the millennium square and the amphitheatre. This offers minimal interruption to the existing desire lines as well as drawing people inside the building, with the multiple entry points that have been created and creating connections with the nearby public spaces.
